【禁闻】澳籍华裔作家杨恒均失踪引关注

【新唐人2011年3月31日讯】澳洲华裔博客作家杨恒均,几天前在广州机场失踪,引起
各方的关注。澳洲外交部也和中共当局展开交涉。澳大利亚有媒体猜测,杨恒均的失
踪,可能和中共为防止境内茉莉花革命而大批拘禁异见人士有关。

在29号的中共外交部简报会上,有记者专门询问了杨恒均27号失踪的这个案例。

外交部发言人姜瑜声称,她从来没有听说过杨恒均这个人。

据了解,姜瑜没有听说过的杨恒均,曾在中共外交部工作过。

《自由亚洲电台》报导,46岁的杨恒均毕业于复旦大学外交专业,曾经担任中共政府部
门要职及国安系统工作,也曾被外交部派驻海外,之后加入澳洲籍。杨恒均还是中国最
有影响力的政治博客作家,拥有"民主小贩"之称和百万粉丝,他的博客文集《家国天下
》去年底在北京出版。

27号,杨恒均打电话给他的博客管理员,说在广州白云机场发现有3人跟踪他,后来就
失去了联系。澳洲外交部29号表示,正在寻找杨恒均的下落。

《美国之音》报导,保护记者委员会表示,担心杨恒均在中共对中国异议人士的镇压中
受到迫害。

2月份,杨恒均在接受《美国之音》的访问中暗示:有"很大压力",他说:"事实上中国
的审查比任何国家都严重,他们还在控制这个言论自由,还在用审查压制这些东西。"

杨恒均的朋友,广东作家野火向《新唐人》表示,当局抓捕杨恒均完全没有理由。

野火:"如果定个什么罪那是不可能,一个因为身份,二是他的文章全部都是公开博客
----国内允许的博客,通过的,网站管理员通过的。"

关注中国政治犯案件的美国「对话基金会」研究员罗助华认为,杨恒均一向对中国的政
治和社会形势"持批评态度",但是也非常小心如何来表达他的观点。连"温和的政府批
评人士"也失踪,罗助华对中共公然漠视法律程序表示担心。

30号,与杨恒均素有交情的悉尼科技大学冯崇义博士对《美国之音》表示,杨恒均目前
已经跟朋友通过电话了,通话中说他"病"了几天,手机没电了。

而澳洲总理朱莉雅.吉拉德(Julia Gillard)预计将在4月26号访问中国。外界认为中
共将会释放杨恒均,以对吉拉德的来访表示善意。

Chinese-Australian Writer Disappeared in China

The disappearance of Chinese-Australian blog writerYang Hengjun has sparked
wide attention.The Australian government has intervened,asking China for
Yang's release.Media believe China is arresting dissidents toprevent
Jasmine Revolution from taking place.

On March 29 briefing by the Chinese Foreign Ministrysome journalists asked
about Yang's disappearance.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Jiang Yu, said thatshe's never heard of Yang
Hengjun.

Oddly enough, Yang Henjun also used to workIn the Chinese Foreign Ministry.

RFA reported, Yang Hengjun, 46, graduatedfrom Fudan University in the field
of foreign affairs.He held positions in the Chinese nationalsecurity system
and foreign diplomatic posts.Later, he was granted Australian
citizenship.With the nickname "democracy vendor" andmillions of fans, Yang
is also an influentialpolitical blog writer. Last year in Beijing, his book
ofblog articles 『Home Country World' was published.

On March 27, Yang tald his blog manager thathe was followed by 3 people in
Guangzhou Airport.The manager had since lost contact with Yang..The
Australian Foreign Ministry said that sinceMarch 29 they were looking for
Yang's whereabouts.

VOA reported, that the Committee for Journalists'Protection is worried that
Yang could be persecutedamidst China's current suppression on dissidents.

In February Yang alluded to VOA that he was under"mounting pressure" and
said: "China's censorshipis worse than any other country, yet they
continueto tighten and suppress freedom of speech."

Yang's friend, Guangdong writer Ye Huo,said to NTD that Yang's arrest is
groundless.

Ye Huo: "It is impossible to convict Yang due to hisforeign citizenship and
the fact that his articles areopenly published on the already censored
blogs."

Luo Zhuhua, researcher at the Dialogue Foundation,said that although Yang
has been criticalof China's political and societal situations,he always
carefully expressed his views.He is a "mild critic of the government."Luo
is concerned with China's disregardof legal procedures in Yang's
disappearance.

On March 30, Dr. Feng Chongyi fromthe University of Technology, Sydney,and
a good friend of Yang Hengjun, told VOA thatYang spoke to friends over the
phone, sayinghe was "sick" and that his cell phone battery died.

Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard is scheduledto visit China on April
26. It is believed thatthe Chinese regime would release Yang Hengjunin
order to extend a good gesture for Gillard's visit.
