【禁闻】奥巴马演说挺民主 学者指影响中国

【新唐人2011年5月21日讯】美国总统奥巴马日前发表重要讲话，表示美国支持中东和
北非地区人民争取民主自由。同时，奥巴马强调，用压制的手段对付人民的诉求已经不
再奏效。中国问题观察家认为，美国对民主自由的推進，对中共独裁政权是一个威胁。

美国总统奥巴马5月19号在国务院发表重要讲话，强调用压制对付人民的变革已经失
效。

美国总统奥巴马：「过去六个月，我们见证了中东和北非发生的巨变，从一个广场到另
一个广场，从一个城镇到另一个城镇，从一个国家到另一个国家，人民挺身而出，要求
实现基本人权。」

奥巴马还认为，科技的進步让人们看到更广阔的世界，在民主進程中起到了关键作用。

美国总统奥巴马：「卫星电视和互联网提供了一个窗口，让人们看到更广阔的世界，看
到像印度，印尼和巴西等国家的惊人進步。手机和社交网站让年轻人以前所未有的方式
進行联络和组织。新的时代已经出现，他们的声音在告诉我们，这些改变是无法阻挡
的。」

奥巴马还表示，本・拉登被击毙之后，美国将重新调整外交政策。

美国乔治梅森大学教授章天亮博士观察，本・拉登死之前，在反恐方面，美国对中国在
很多方面都有妥协，但现在美国的表态已经不一样了。

章天亮：「前两天美国国务卿克林顿在接受访问中谈到，中国对民主的压制是在试图阻
挡历史，而且希拉里断言这种阻挡是不会成功的，只不过中共想法是，能够把它的政权
能维持多长时间就维持多长时间。」

章天亮认为，这次奥巴马又一次公开表明对全世界民主、自由的支持，对独裁政权的谴
责，将可能是未来美国重点的外交方向。

章天亮：「奥巴马调整对外政策，可能会在民主自由推進方面的力度会加大，这对中共
独裁政权就是一个威胁。」

资讯时代把全世界连在了一起，中东、北非的茉莉花革命也传到了中国，这半年来，同
样让中共政权如临大敌、惊恐万分。现在有众多异议人士和维权人士被无端抓捕。广西
作家荆楚说，中国人很难听到奥巴马的这段演讲。

荆楚：「它就是通过这种方式来限制国人的思想，表面上看起来给了一定信息，但这信
息是被它歪曲的，被它利用的，甚至南辕北辙的，国人长期在这样的信息之下就被误
导，就被欺骗，这样欺骗下来自己还不知道。」

但荆楚表示，他希望美国政府明白，保持对中共政权的施压，就是对中国人民的帮助。

中国大陆IT工程师蒲飞表示欣赏美国的价值观。他认为，美国的价值观会让中国民众都
知道人权、民主是世界的潮流。

蒲飞：「美国这种强有力的超级大国支持人权议题，对中国政府有提示在里面，中美人
权对话以后，中共释放了一批人权律师，这是美国带来的一个不错的改变。」

蒲飞说，美国对人权的关注和压力，促使中共政府進行一些改变，必然影响到专制下的
中国人。

Scholar: Obama's Speech Will Affect China

President Barack Obama said in an important speechthat US support the
people in the Middle East andNorth Africa for freedom and democracy.Obama
stressed that suppression of people's aspirationis no longer effective.
China experts believe thatUS promoting democracy and freedom posesthreat to
the dictatorship in China.

President Obama delivered an important speechon May 19 at the State
Department, stressing thatrepression against the people's revolution has
failed.

Obama said, "For six months, we have witnessedan extraordinary change
taking place in the Middle Eastand North Africa. Square by square, town by
town,country by country, the people have risen up to demandtheir basic
human rights."

Obama believes that advances in technology allowpeople to see a wider
world, and played a key rolein the democratic process.

Obama said, "Satellite television and the Internet providea window into the
wider world -– a world of astonishingprogress in places like India and
Indonesia and Brazil.Cell phones and social networks allow young people
toconnect and organize like never before. And so a newgeneration has
emerged. And their voices tell us thatchange cannot be denied."

Obama also said bin Laden was killed, and US willre-adjust its foreign
policy.

Dr. Zhang Tianliang, a professor in George Mason Univ.observed before bin
Laden's death, US compromisedto China in many aspects in order to fight
terrorism,but now the U.S. changed its attitude.

Dr. Zhang: "Secretary of State Clinton said in aninterview that China's
repression of democracy is tryingto block history, which will not succeed.
Now the ChineseCommunist Party (CCP) just tries to maintain its poweras
long as possible.

Dr. Zhang said Obama again publicly showed supportsto worldwide democracy
and freedom, and condemnationof the dictatorial regime, which is likely to
be the futuredirection of the U.S. diplomatic priorities.

Dr. Zhang said Obama adjusted diplomatic policiesto promote harder the
democracy and freedom,which is a threat to the CCP's dictatorship.

The world is linked together in an information age,Jasmine Revolution in
the Middle East and North Africaalso spread to China. In the past six
months, the CCPwas terrified. Recently, many dissidents and activistswere
suddenly arrested. Guangxi writer Jing Chu said,it is hard for the Chinese
people to hear Obama's speech.

Jing Chu: "The CCP limits people's thinking this way.Superficially,
information is circulated, but it is distortedand usurped by the CCP, even
to the diametrical.Chinese nationals are subject to the false
informationfor a long time and misguided without knowing it.

Jing Chu said he hoped the U.S. government understand,keeping pressure on
the CCP is helping Chinese people.

Pu Fei, an IT engineer in China appreciates U.S. values,which he believes
will enable the Chinese to knowthat human rights and democracy are global
trends.

Pu Fei: "U.S. strong support of human rights issuesgave a hint to the
Chinese regime. After the Sino-UShuman rights dialogue, the CCP released
some humanrights lawyers, a nice change brought by the U.S."

Pu Fei said US concerns and pressure on human rightsmade some changes in
Chinese regime, and willinevitably affect the Chinese people under the
tyranny.
