He gave the CCP authorities a meaningful warning:They shouldn't expect his
successor differ from him.Huntsman cares about Chinese democratic
movements. The U.S. will always support human rights. In terms of human
rights and the Sino-U.S. relationship,He criticized the government's
suppression of themedia and ending the bilateral dialogue with the
U.S.cannot do much about mutual understanding.

Huntsman visited human rights lawyer Ni Yulanin a hotel guarded by
police. He appeared at a "jasmine rally" site in Beijing. His name soon was
blocked by CCP's official media.Regarding this, a White House spokesman
ridiculed:U.S. ambassador to China hasn't left yet,but his name has
disappeared in China.

The nominated future U.S. ambassador to China,Gary Locke said in March in a
congressional hearingthat he would consider going to house churches
inChina. Locke is a Protestant Baptist Christian.

In the hearing, Republican Congressman Wolf stressedthat to support the
persecuted and exiled dissidents, the U.S. embassy in China should be a free
island.
